Description
Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Med Surg
Location: Hot Springs, Arkansas
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work in a 40-bed Med/Surg unit with a patient ratio of 1:6.
- Unit includes Orthopedics specialty.
- 12-hour shifts with approximately 36 guaranteed hours per week.
- Weekend hours every other week (EOW).
- Float requirements apply.
- Electronic Health Record system used: Meditech.
- Dress code: Navy scrubs.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arkansas.
- Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg nursing experience within the last year.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Additional Information
- Patient population primarily adult.
- Call requirements not specified.
- Must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment with common Med/Surg and Orthopedic diagnoses and treatments.
