Job Opportunity: CT Tech - Radiology

Location: Johnstown, Pennsylvania
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

• Role: CT Technologist
• Specialty: CAT SCAN
• Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, 3 days per week
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
• Call Requirements: None
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Number of Openings: 1

Facility & Unit Information

• Trauma Level: Level 1 Trauma Center
• Equipment: Siemens Definition 40 slice and Siemens Definition Flash 128 slice CT scanners
• EHR Systems: EPIC, Change (McKesson), PACS, Medrad injectors
• Patient Population: All ages, primarily geriatric and adults
• Department Environment: Fast-paced, focused on ER and inpatient imaging

Required Qualifications

• ARRT (CT) certification required
• Completion of a two-year radiology program
• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required

Additional Information

• Orientation: Weekly on Mondays
• Dress Code: Scrubs of any color; casual wear, camo, and denim are not acceptable
• Personality Fit: Easy-going personality preferred to thrive in the department
• Screening: Complete and clear background screenings required prior to start, including Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, fingerprinting, and state police clearance
