Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Location: Pensacola, Florida
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• 40 hours per week
• On Call Requirements:

  • Weekdays: 5:30 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Saturdays and Sundays: 24 hours
• Weekend Requirement: Every fourth weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Any holiday that falls on a regularly scheduled shift

Required Credentials & Certifications

• Required:

  • AART certification
  • Florida Radiologic License
  • BLS (AHA) certification
• Preferred:

  • BLS (American Heart Association)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Florida
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
• Recent Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
• AART certification
• Florida Radiologic license
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association

Onboarding & Compliance Requirements

• Professional references (minimum two)
• Criminal background check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender Registry, and others as required
• Drug screening (12-panel) within 30 days prior to assignment start, updated annually
• Health screenings and immunizations including:

  • MMR (two vaccines or positive titer; no declinations accepted)
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination
  • Varicella immunity or vaccination (no declinations accepted)
  • Tdap vaccination within last 10 years (no declinations accepted)
  • Fit test for respiratory protection (preferred prior to start)
  • TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA) and annual questionnaire
  • Health statement or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
• Completion of core competencies and skills checklists relevant to specialty
• Driver’s license or state ID matching address on file
