Description
Registered Nurse (NICU)
Location
- Fort Wayne, Indiana
Job Type
- Traveler - Backfill
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Unit Details
- Level 3 NICU with 31 beds
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:1 or 1:2
- May float to age-appropriate Pediatrics or PICU units
Schedule
- 36 hours per week
- Shifts available: Days or Nights (7pm-7am)
- Orientation: Mandatory attendance for all 7 days
- Week 1: Monday to Friday, 8-hour days
- Week 2: Monday and Tuesday, 8-hour days
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience
- Current Indiana RN license
- BLS (AHA only)
- NRP certification
Skills and Equipment
- Patient care in NICU setting
- Experience with EPIC computer charting and Pyxis medication administration
Dress Code
