Description
Job Opportunity: Outpatient Orthopedic Occupational Therapist
Location: Kenosha, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Start Date: June 15
Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (5 days a week, 8-hour shifts)
Schedule: No weekends or holidays
Work Setting: Outpatient clinic with 4 PTs and 1 PTA
Patient Population: Orthopedic patients; additional scheduling possible for Pelvic Floor or Lymphedema certified therapists
Treatment Duration: All treatments and evaluations are 60 minutes
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Wisconsin
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in specialty
- 7-year background check required within 1 year of start, updated annually
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start (QGold required; TSpot/PPD not accepted)
- Drug screening: Negative 10-panel drug screen with expanded opiates within 14 days before start (instant tests not accepted)
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (October to March)
- Professional references: 2 verified within 2 years of start
- Photo for badge (passport-style, no filters)
- Completion of facility-specific compliance and confidentiality documents prior to start
- First-time travelers not accepted for this assignment
- Locals accepted but at a lower rate

- 60-minute evaluations and follow-up treatments
- Opportunity to treat specialized populations if certified (Pelvic Floor, Lymphedema)
- No weekend or holiday shifts required
This position is ideal for Occupational Therapists with outpatient orthopedic experience seeking a structured weekday schedule without weekend or holiday work. Prior travel experience is not required, but first-time travelers are not accepted for this role.
