Description
Job Opportunity: RN Cardiology
Location: Hartford, Connecticut
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work schedule: 36 hours per week, every other week including holidays.
- Must have experience with cardiac drips such as amiodarone and cardizem.
- Must have experience caring for stroke patients.
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Connecticut
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 1 year of Telemetry nursing experience within the last year
- Experience with cardiac drips such as amiodarone and cardizem
- Experience caring for stroke patients
- Cardiology experience
- Stroke experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) competency
