Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) - Night Shift

Location: Marshfield, Wisconsin
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: Nights (7 days on, 7 days off)
• Shift Hours: Either 8:30 PM–6:30 AM or 9:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Hours per Week: Approximately 34 hours (30 hours one week, 40 hours the next)
• Work Setting: Hospital and attached clinic, covering inpatient and clinic areas
• Department Size: 14 scanners/rooms including hospital and clinic scanners
• Imaging Types: Full range including Level 2 trauma, portables, OR cases, and referral center studies
• Typical Workload: Varies by shift and location; overnight shifts staffed with two techs (no solo coverage)
• Equipment: FUJI rooms and portables; Cerner and Siemens PACS systems used
• Supervision: No radiology supervisor or lead tech on night shift
• Radiologist Coverage: No in-house radiologist 24/7; night reading service available
• IV Starts: Not required
• Call/Standby: No call or standby requirement
• Dress Code: OR scrubs allowed on nights, with potential to be called into OR cases
• Orientation: Department-specific orientation of 1-2 shifts depending on assigned shift

Required Qualifications

• Licenses/Certifications:

  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (AHA)
  • Wisconsin Radiologic Technologist license
• Experience:

  • Must have C-arm experience and be able to function in the OR environment
  • Prior hospital setting experience required (clinic-only experience not sufficient)
• Travel Experience:

  • First-time travelers are welcome (prior travel experience not required)

Additional Notes

• Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility are considered local and may have adjusted rates (not included here).
• Clinicians who have previously worked for this facility must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission.
• All clinicians must clock in and out at the facility.
• Weekend and holiday work is required as part of the 7-on rotation schedule.
