Technologist - X-Ray (Afternoons)

Job Description

• COVID vaccinations strongly encouraged.
• Orientation includes 8 hours non-billable with holiday multiplier.
• Requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified before profile upload; no more than 5 days of time off accepted.
• Must pass a 14-panel drug screen within 24 hours of offer acceptance. The panel must include:

  • Amphetamines (including methamphetamine, MDMA, MDA)
  • Barbiturates
  • Benzodiazepines
  • Cocaine Metabolite
  • Opiates (codeine, morphine, oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone)
  • Phencyclidine
  • Methadone
  • Methaqualone
  • Propoxyphene
  • Buprenorphine
  • 6-Acetylmorphine
• Verbal de-escalation training from approved providers required for onboarding and clearance.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technologist license in New York
• Minimum 3 years of Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• ARRT (R) certification
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Previous or current travel experience
• X-Ray Technician experience
• Experience with Epic EMR system

Profile Requirements

• Work history and skills checklist current to within 1 year.
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment.
• Upload current licenses and certifications (NY State Rad Tech License, ARRT, BLS). Facility will not pend licenses or certifications.
• Permanent address must be included in profile and must match driver’s license or state ID.
• Applicants from the following New York counties are not eligible for this travel assignment:
  Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, Washington.
