Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (RN - ED)

Location: Denver, Colorado
Employment Type: Staffing - Supplier Sourced
Contract Length: Approximately 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Perform independent nursing and delegated medical functions according to state Board of Nursing standards.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Continuously evaluate patient health status through data collection and assessment.
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and supportive/restorative therapy and treatment directly or through delegation and supervision.
• Execute delegated medical functions and refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed.
• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans.
• Document care and treatments in compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
• Utilize resources effectively.
• May float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications.
• May be required to be on-call during scheduled shifts.

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Colorado.
• Ability to perform all essential nursing duties satisfactorily.
• Must meet knowledge, skills, education, training, licensure, and experience requirements for the role.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
