Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Galax, Virginia

Employment Type

Travel contract
Contract length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

36 hours per week guaranteed
Shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Weekend hours: 12 hours every other weekend
No call requirements
Float as needed

Unit and Patient Population

Department: Cardiopulmonary (Respiratory Therapy)
Facility size: 125 beds
Patient population: All ages (pediatric, adult, geriatric)
Common diagnoses: Various respiratory issues
Equipment used: Ventilators, BiPAPs, ABGs
Electronic Health Record system: McKesson

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license in Virginia
Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner

Professional demeanor required
Dress code: Scrubs of any color; unprofessional attire is not acceptable
