Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist - NICU

Location: Charlottesville, Virginia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights
Schedule Details:

  • No return to office (RTO) allowed on 5/25 and 7/4
  • 36 or 48 hours available
  • Every other weekend and every other holiday off
  • Unit uses a self-scheduling model (manager will explain; no guaranteed schedule but attempts to accommodate)

Job Description

  • Work in a children's hospital setting
  • Must have Level 4 NICU experience
  • Cardiac PICU experience preferred
  • Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Care Specialist (ACCS) preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required
  • Candidates can submit with Virginia license pending if they can obtain a temporary license before start; must have another state license to be eligible for temp license

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Virginia
  • Minimum of 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
  • Pediatric Respiratory Therapist experience
