Description
Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist - NICU
Location: Charlottesville, Virginia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights
Schedule Details:
- No return to office (RTO) allowed on 5/25 and 7/4
- 36 or 48 hours available
- Every other weekend and every other holiday off
- Unit uses a self-scheduling model (manager will explain; no guaranteed schedule but attempts to accommodate)
Job Description
- Work in a children's hospital setting
- Must have Level 4 NICU experience
- Cardiac PICU experience preferred
- Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Care Specialist (ACCS) preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required
- Candidates can submit with Virginia license pending if they can obtain a temporary license before start; must have another state license to be eligible for temp license
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Virginia
- Minimum of 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
- Pediatric Respiratory Therapist experience
