Description

Occupational Therapist (OT) - Travel Position

Location: Ottumwa, Iowa
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day
Weekly Hours: 32 hours guaranteed
Weekend Requirement: Minimum 1 weekend per month
Call Requirement: None
Float Requirement: Yes, floating between Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) and Medical-Surgical (MS) units to cover evaluations and treatments as needed


Unit and Patient Information

  • Floor: 2nd floor
  • ARU Beds: 13
  • MS Beds: 24
  • Patient Population: Geriatric, adult, general diagnosis
  • Electronic Health Record (EHR): Net Health documentation

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in Iowa
  • Occupational Therapist experience within the last year (0 years of experience acceptable)

Work Environment and Dress Code

  • Reports to Program Director
  • Scrub color: Any color allowed
  • Unacceptable attire: Pajamas and torn clothing

Additional Notes

  • Position requires flexibility to float between units
  • No call responsibilities
  • Must be able to work at least one weekend per month
