Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room
Location: Neptune, New Jersey
Employment Type: Clinical
Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (10 hours/day, 40 hours/week)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Provide nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room.
- Apply the nursing process including assessment, interdisciplinary treatment planning, clinical intervention, and evaluation of patient responses.
- Assign and evaluate the work of non-nursing direct care providers in the operating room.
- Ensure appropriate documentation reflecting patient needs and care.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing required
Licensure & Certifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Experience & Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience
- Operating Room experience within the last year
Additional Information
- No prior travel experience required
- Focus on surgical patient care in the operating room setting
