Location: Akron, Ohio
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 10:30 AM – 11:00 PM)

Job Description
Seeking a CT Technologist with experience in Radiology/Cardiology specialties. This is a travel contract position requiring adherence to facility-specific onboarding and compliance standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Ohio
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
Compliance and Onboarding Requirements
- Identification: Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID) must be carried during assignment.
- Background Checks:
- Comprehensive background check including FCRA-compliant 7-year search, SSN trace, sex offender registry, OFAC, FACIS Level 3, and education verification.
- Monthly EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required.
- Fingerprinting:
- FBI and BCI fingerprinting required within 12 months of start and updated annually.
- Must be completed under code 4723.09 (Nursing).
- CT Techs can start with agency fingerprint results pending as long as fingerprinting is completed prior to start.
- Facility will conduct additional fingerprinting onsite.
- Health Requirements:
- Physical exam within 1 year of start confirming ability to perform essential job functions.
- Fit mask test (3M 1860 small/regular or 1870+) within 12 months, updated annually.
- Immunizations/vaccinations required:
- Tdap every 10 years (medical exemptions reviewed case-by-case).
- Negative TB test (2-step PPD or Quantiferon Gold/T-Spot) within 6 months of start or chest x-ray if prior positive.
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella): 2 vaccines or positive titer with boosters if titers negative/equivocal.
- Hepatitis B: Titer, series, or declination documented.
- Varicella: 2 vaccines or positive titer with booster if titers negative/equivocal.
- Annual 10-panel drug screen (instant tests not accepted).
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct 31 – Mar 31).
- Competency:
- Unit-specific competency exam required within 12 months of start and updated annually.
- References: Two professional references within one year of start from a manager, supervisor, or director (co-worker references not accepted).
- Employment History: Application must include 3 years prior work history with at least 2 years clinical practice in acute care and similar area.
- Skills Checklist: Required annually.
Orientation and Training
- Completion of facility-specific online training modules is mandatory prior to start.
- Modules must be completed on a computer using Google Chrome; cannot be completed on a phone.
- Training includes watching videos before tests; skipping videos will lock the user out.
- Badge photo required prior to start.
- Returning travelers with less than a 6-month break may have reduced orientation requirements.
