• Night shift, Monday through Thursday
• 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (20:30 - 07:00)
• No weekend requirement
• No on-call duties
• No floating outside scope of practice

Requirements/Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, including experience within the last year
• Active ARDMS certification
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience working with Adult patients
• Experience in Management roles

Licensure & Certifications

• Illinois state license required and must be active prior to start (no pending licenses accepted)
• Fingerprinting must be completed in Illinois at least 3 business days before start date

Additional Requirements

• Must be in Illinois 3 business days prior to start for fingerprinting compliance
• Locals accepted with no radius restrictions
• RTO (Return to Office) restrictions: ideally no more than 5 days
• Parking permit required (no cost)
• Scrub color: any solid color

Health & Compliance Documents (must be current or completed within required timeframes)

• Background checks covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
• Drug screening (9 panel) within 30 days of start
• Physical exam within 1 year of start, confirming good health and ability to perform job functions
• Fit mask test (for new contracts starting 09/02/25 and after)
• Immunizations or proof of immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
• Flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required annually by November 30
• Competency exam required for clinical candidates
• Education verification and professional references required

Notes

• No weekend or on-call requirements
• No floating outside scope of practice
• Candidate must complete badge photo and sign code of conduct within 7 days of contract signing
• Facility uses Cerner for charting
• Parking permit form must be completed unless alternative transportation is used

This position is ideal for ultrasound technologists with a minimum of 2 years’ experience who are comfortable working nights in an acute care, Level I trauma hospital setting, and who hold active ARDMS and BLS certifications. Prior travel experience is not required.
