Job Opportunity: CT Tech

Location: Albany, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Hours per Week: 36 (3 shifts x 12 hours)
Patient Ratio: 1:3
Work Environment: Very busy hospital setting
Call Requirement: Approximately 2 shifts per month

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• Completion of at least one travel assignment
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ARRT CT (Computed Tomography) certification
• ARRT Radiography (R) certification
• Valid state license appropriate for CT Technologist in Missouri

  • State and County Searches (10 years, all addresses and aliases)

  • EPLS/GSA/SAM

• Education Verification: Official transcript or diploma with graduation date
• State Specific: Missouri EDL Search within 30 days of start
• Professional References: Two professional references within 3 years of start

Health and Safety Requirements

• Physical Exam: Physician statement within last 12 months (not required annually)
• Fit Mask Testing: Completed onsite at orientation
• TB Screening: Negative PPD, Q-Gold, or T-SPOT within 1 year; if positive, chest x-ray within 6 months and annual TB questionnaire
• Immunizations:

  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: 2 MMR vaccines, positive titer, or declination accepted
  • Hepatitis B: Proof of vaccination series, titer, or declination accepted
  • Varicella: 2 vaccines, positive titer, or declination accepted
• Drug Screening: Within 30 days of start; must include a comprehensive panel (cocaine, barbiturates, amphetamines, benzodiazepines, opiates, methaqualone, propoxyphene, methadone, PCP, MDMA/MDA)
• Seasonal Flu Vaccination: Required during flu season or agency-approved medical/religious exemption; declinations not accepted

Additional Requirements

• Call: Approximately 2 shifts per month
• Orientation and Training:

  • Annual acknowledgment of safety manual
  • Pass/fail testing including basic dysrhythmia exam (if applicable)
  • Primary source verification of certifications and licenses within 30 days of start
• Confidentiality and Conduct: Candidate must review and sign confidentiality agreement and code of conduct
• Facility-Specific Training: May be required upon contract extension (AVADE training for certain units)

This position is ideal for experienced CT Technologists with prior travel contract experience seeking a challenging role in a high-volume hospital environment on night shifts.
