Description
Radiation Therapist Position - Pennsylvania, Newton
Job Summary
- Administer ionizing radiation therapy to patients following the prescription and instructions of the Radiation Oncologist.
- Collaborate with physicists, dosimetrists, chief therapists, and Radiation Oncologists in treatment planning and simulation.
Employment Details
- Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiation Therapist license in Maryland
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist, including experience within the last year
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
