Radiation Therapist - Jackson, Mississippi
Job Details
- Shift: Typically Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM (hours may vary based on patient volume)
- Call Requirements: Evening, weekend, and holiday call on a rotating basis; two therapists take weekend call generally for two weeks in a row
- Typical Patient Volume: Approximately 50 patients per day
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiation Therapist license in Mississippi
- Minimum of 2 years of Radiation Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT (T) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Equipment Used
- Varian Edge with HyperSight and Identify
- Varian Ethos with Vision RT
- Siemens Go Open Pro Simulator
- Record and Verify System: Aria
Location Notes
- Position located on the main campus, basement level across from the Emergency Room
