Description
Registered Nurse (ICU) - Travel Position
Location: Lake Havasu City, Arizona
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed

Unit & Facility Overview
- Unit: ICU/CVICU (Blended ICU)
- Trauma Level: III
- Beds: 16
- Patient Ratio: 1:2
- Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric
- Equipment: Baxter pumps
- Electronic Health Record (EHR): Medhost
- Float Requirements: Intermediate Care Unit (primary RN), ED holding area as needed
- Call Requirements: Yes
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
- Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Clinical Experience & Common Diagnoses
- Experience with STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, Sepsis
- Post-operative care for CABG, valve repair/replacement
- Management of Acute Respiratory Failure, Atrial Fibrillation with RVR
- Care for patients with ETOH withdrawal, head injury, overdose, stroke, trauma
- Experience with CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy), TCAR, and TVAR
Additional Information
- Attendance Policy: One call-out allowed per contract; second call-out requires documentation and is reviewed case-by-case
- No block schedule requests; 48-hour shifts may be considered but are not guaranteed
- Candidates should indicate shift flexibility (day, night, or both)
- Housing options are available
- Dress code and attire requirements to be provided upon hiring
