Registered Nurse (ICU) - Travel Assignment
Location: Lake Havasu City, Arizona
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed

Unit & Facility Overview
- Unit: ICU/CVICU (Blended ICU)
- Beds: 16
- Patient Ratio: 1:2
- Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric
- Trauma Level: III
- Equipment: Baxter pumps
- Electronic Health Record (EHR): Medhost
- Call Requirements: Yes
- Float Requirements: Intermediate Care Unit (primary RN), ED holding (as needed)
- Common Diagnoses/Treatments: STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, Sepsis, CABG, Valve repair/replacement, Acute Respiratory Failure, Atrial Fibrillation with RVR, Alcohol Withdrawal, Head Injury, Overdose, Stroke, Trauma, CRRT, TCAR & TVAR
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
- Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including ICU experience within the last year
- Experience in Intermediate Care
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

- Attendance Policy: One call-out allowed per contract; second call-out requires documentation and is reviewed case-by-case
- Shift flexibility: Candidates should indicate if they are flexible for day or night shifts; no block schedule requests, 48-hour shifts may be considered but not guaranteed

- Patient care includes managing complex critical care cases with a variety of acute and chronic conditions
