Shift Details

3x12 hour night shifts (1900-0730)
Weekends required: 7 weekends in 8 weeks

Job Summary

Perform independent nursing and delegated medical functions according to state Board of Nursing standards
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care
Collect and assess health data to evaluate patient status
Provide health teaching, counseling, therapy, and treatment supportive of patient well-being
Execute delegated medical functions and refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans
Document care in compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
May float to other departments within scope of competency
May be required to be on-call during scheduled shifts

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in ICU or related specialty
Valid RN license (Single State or Compact RN License)
BLS (AHA) certification
ACLS (AHA) certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
