Description
Registered Nurse - Telemetry (Travel)
Location: Fort Smith, Arkansas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night
Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
Call Requirements: None
Job Summary
Provide patient care on a Med Tele unit utilizing the nursing process. Coordinate patient care with other departments while maintaining professional accountability and patient confidentiality. Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other caregivers.
Unit Information
- Patient Ratio: 6:1
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: EPIC
- Dress Code: Black scrubs; no open-toe shoes allowed
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Arkansas
- Minimum 1 year of telemetry experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience or preference for precepting nursing students
Preferred Qualifications
- Upbeat and hardworking personality
