Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location

  • Sanford, North Carolina
  • Small-town setting with access to Raleigh, Durham, and the Research Triangle region
  • Close to multiple golf courses and local breweries

Employment Type

  • Travel assignment
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Night shift
  • 36 guaranteed hours per week
  • Rotating weekends
  • On-call requirements

Unit and Patient Population

  • Respiratory Care Department
  • 100-bed facility
  • Patient population primarily geriatric and adult, with occasional pediatric and neonatal patients
  • Equipment used: V-60, Servo-I, Optiflow
  • Electronic Health Record system: Cerner
  • Able to work independently during night shifts

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license in North Carolina
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner with at least 1 year of experience within the last year
  • Experience working with neonate patients

Clinical Focus

  • Common diagnoses include COPD and respiratory distress
  • Trauma level: Not specified

Dress Code

  • Solid scrub top and bottom required
