Job Description

• Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse position specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR).
• Must have experience with scrub and circulate roles, including vascular and hybrid cases.
• Types of cases include Cardiovascular, Vascular, Cardiac, Thoracic, Gynecological, General OR, and some Robotics.
• Work schedule consists of staggered 10-hour shifts with on-call and weekend availability.
• Call requirements include two 48-hour weekends and 14 weekday shifts within 6 weeks.
• Regular worked hours alternate between 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM and 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM.
• Charting experience with Cerner and PowerChart required.
• Locals accepted with a rate differential.
• First-time travelers accepted.
• Scrubs provided.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey.
• Minimum 1 year of Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience within the last year.
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience.
• Experience with scrub and circulate roles.
• Experience with vascular and hybrid cases.
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Experience with Cerner electronic health record system.
