Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Grove City, Ohio
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 07:00 - 19:30


Job Description

  • Provide nursing care in the Emergency Department (ED) during day shift hours.

Required Qualifications

Licensure

  • Current RN license valid in Ohio.
  • License verification must be dated within 30 days of start and include an online verification page with a machine-generated date.

Certifications

  • BLS (American Heart Association) – required for all direct patient care personnel.
  • ACLS (American Heart Association) – required for RNs in the ED.
  • PALS or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) – required for ED RNs.
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) – required.
  • Specialty-specific competency testing must be completed within the past year.

Health and Immunization Requirements

  • COVID-19 vaccine with booster proof (or approved exemption/declination where allowed).
  • MMR: Proof of 2 vaccinations or IgG titer lab report.
  • Hepatitis B: Must have started vaccination series prior to start; titers not accepted.
  • Influenza vaccine or approved exemption/declination for current flu season.
  • Varicella: Proof of vaccination or IgG titer lab report.
  • 2-Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) for TB screening; positive TB requires chest x-ray per regional guidelines.
  • Fit test for respiratory protection (specific mask requirements may apply).
  • Physical/Health statement confirming fitness to work within the last year.
  • Drug screen: 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start, no THC allowed.

Professional Requirements

  • Criminal background check covering federal, nationwide, and county records for the last 7 years, including SSN verification, dated within 30 days of start.
  • Education verification of highest academic degree or diploma.
  • EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) and GSA/OIG exclusion checks dated within 30 days.
  • Confidentiality and proprietary information agreement signed prior to start.
  • Conflict of interest disclosure form signed prior to start.
  • Integrity and audit services form signed shortly before start.
  • Joint Commission CORE exam completed within the past year.
  • National Sex Offender Registry (NSO) check dated within 30 days.
  • System access form completed and uploaded one week before start.
  • Skills checklist provided by agency for clinical contractors.
  • Standard I-9 verification completed by agency.
