Description
Registered Nurse - Telemetry
Location: Denver, Colorado
Employment Type: Clinical Nursing
Shift: Night, 12-hour shifts
Weekly Hours: 36 hours
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Perform independent nursing and delegated medical functions following state Board of Nursing standards.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
- Continuously evaluate patient health status through data collection and assessment.
- Provide health teaching, counseling, and supportive/restorative therapy directly or through delegation and supervision.
- Execute delegated medical functions and refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed.
- Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans.
- Document care in compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
- Utilize resources effectively.
- May float to other departments within competency and qualifications based on business needs.
- May be required to be on-call during scheduled shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Colorado.
- Ability to perform all essential nursing duties satisfactorily.
- Must meet knowledge, skills, education, training, licensure, and experience requirements to perform the job.
- Reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
