Job Summary

Perform independent nursing and delegated medical functions according to state Board of Nursing standards
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care
Collect and assess health data to evaluate patient health status
Provide health teaching and counseling
Deliver supportive and restorative therapy and treatment directly or through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching
Execute delegated medical functions and refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans
Document care in compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
Utilize resources as needed
May float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business needs
May be required to be on-call during a regularly scheduled shift

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse license in Colorado
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum of 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
