Description

Cardiovascular Technician (Temporary)

Location: Lansing, Michigan
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Days
Hours per Day: 10
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Provide services in the Cardiovascular/Interventional Laboratory including:
    • Cardiac catheterization
    • Angiography
    • Peripheral angioplasty with or without stent placement
    • Venography
    • Cardiac pacemaker insertions
    • Various non-vascular interventional procedures
  • Work involves both inpatient and one-day outpatient services

Required Qualifications

  • Cardiovascular Technologist with 2 years of experience
  • Cardiovascular Technologist experience within the last year
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cardiac experience
  • Interventional Radiology (IR) experience

Additional Information

  • Facility uses Cerner EMR system
  • Position is based in a tertiary teaching hospital with 310 acute care beds
