Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Specialty: Labor and Delivery (L&D)
- Shift: Days, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (3x12)
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Weekend Hours: As required by facility
- Call Requirements: None
- Number of Openings: 7
Unit Information
- Unit Type: Labor & Birth
- Number of Beds: 15 labor beds, 7 antepartum, 4 pre/postpartum
- Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:1 or 2:1 (estimates, not guaranteed)
- Equipment: External fetal monitoring
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: EPIC
- Float Requirements: May be required to float to postpartum unit
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
