Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU
Location: Howell, Michigan
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Job Summary
Seeking a Registered Nurse with Progressive Care Unit (PCU) specialty to provide direct patient care during night shifts on a long-term contract.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Michigan
- Minimum 1 year of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Onboarding and Compliance Requirements
- Criminal background check (federal, nationwide, county) within last 30 days.
- Education verification of highest academic degree or diploma.
- Drug screen and health screenings as above.
- Signed forms including:
- Code of Conduct
- Confidentiality and Information Security Agreement
- Conflict of Interest Disclosure
- Integrity and Audit Services Form
- Employment eligibility verification (I-9).
- Exclusion screenings (EPLS, OIG, NSO) within 30 days.
- System access form completed one week before start.
- Skills checklist provided and completed by agency for clinical contractors.
- CORE exam (Joint Commission testing) within last year.
Additional Information
- Work schedule includes every other or every third holiday rotation.
- Respirator evaluation with physician signature required.
- All documentation must be uploaded to the credentialing system prior to or at onboarding as specified.
This position is ideal for experienced PCU RNs seeking a night shift long-term assignment in Michigan with comprehensive credentialing and compliance requirements.
