CT Tech - Radiology (Travel Position)

Location: Johnstown, Pennsylvania
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

• Role: CT Technologist (CAT SCAN specialty)
• Department: Medical Imaging (CT Scan Unit)
• Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, 3 days per week
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend required
• Call Requirements: None
• Number of Openings: 1
• Equipment Used: Siemens Definition 40 slice and Siemens Definition Flash 128 slice CT scanners
• EHR Systems: EPIC, Change (McKesson), PACS, Medrad injectors
• Patient Population: All ages, primarily geriatric and adults
• Work Environment: Fast-paced trauma center with Level 1 Trauma designation
• Personality Fit: Easy-going personality preferred

Required Qualifications

• ARRT (CT) certification required
• Completion of a 2-year radiology program
• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year

Additional Information

• Orientation: Weekly on Mondays
• Shift Pattern: 4x10 shifts available (willing to offer)
• Dress Code: Scrubs of any color allowed; no casual wear, camo, or denim permitted
• Facility: Tertiary care regional referral hospital with nationally recognized patient outcomes
• Screening: Complete and clear background screenings required prior to start, including:

  • Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance
  • Department of Human Services Fingerprinting
  • FBI Fingerprinting (within last 2 years or new submission required)
  • PA State Police Clearance (PATCH)
• Travel Requirement: Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify for travel status
