Description
Physical Therapist - Home Health (Travel/Contract)
Location: San Diego, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Field position serving Central/South San Diego area
- Home Health setting
- Schedule options:
- Monday to Friday with one weekend day on call per month
- Tuesday to Saturday
- Wednesday to Sunday
- Locals are welcome to apply
- Hours based on completed visits: 25 visits = 40 hours per week
- Guaranteed hours if 25 or more visits are completed
- Mileage reimbursement per IRS standard
- COVID vaccination exemptions permitted
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in California
- Experience in an Outpatient setting
- Experience with OASIS
Additional Information
- Photo for badge (passport style) required before start
- Candidates must review and sign training content and hand hygiene policy prior to start
- Background checks including 7-year location history, sex offender registry, and federal exclusions required and updated annually
- Competency exams and medication/pharmacology tests required as applicable with minimum passing scores
Shift & Hours
- Day shift, 5 days per week, 8 hours per day (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
- 40 hours per week guaranteed with minimum visits completed
