Description
Respiratory Therapist (CRT) - Travel Assignment
Location: Cape Girardeau, Missouri
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (18:00 - 06:30)
Weekly Hours: 36 hours (guaranteed)
Orientation: Night shift orientation occurs on day shift; availability for the entire orientation week is required.
Weekend and Call: As required by facility
Job Description
- Provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy according to physician orders.
- Consult with physicians regarding the effectiveness of respiratory therapy.
- Serve as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff on respiratory care.
- Care for Adult, Pediatric, and Neonatal patient populations.
- Perform duties as assigned within the respiratory department.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license in Missouri
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner within the last year
- Experience working with Adult and Pediatric patients
Work Environment
- Facility uses EPIC electronic medical records system.
- Night shift dress code requires black scrubs; torn clothes, open-toed shoes, and not wearing scrubs are unacceptable.
Additional Requirements
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption required for all travelers from November 1 through April 1; declinations are not accepted.
- Float and call duties as required by the facility.
