Registered Nurse (Chronic Dialysis) - North Carolina
Job Details
- Location: Shelby, North Carolina
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day shift
- Hours: 10 hours per day, approximately 36 hours per week (may work up to 40 hours)
- Schedule: Clinic open 6 days a week; work every other Saturday
- Float: May be required to float to another clinic in town
Job Description
- Provide care as a Chronic Dialysis RN, including putting patients on and taking them off dialysis machines
- Responsible for care plans and all typical RN duties
- Must be charge capable and willing to act as charge nurse
- Work with Fresenius K dialysis machines (33 machines, 99 patients)
- Must be fully available for the contract without scheduling accommodations or blocked schedules
- No scheduling requests or accommodations accepted; availability based on clinic needs and census
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license
- BLS Certification
- Experience as a Chronic Dialysis RN with charge nurse capability
- Willingness to perform all aspects of dialysis nursing, including care plans and patient management
- Must be fully available for the contract duration without other PRN job conflicts
Additional Notes
- Local candidates cannot request accommodations for other PRN jobs
- Flexibility to float within local clinics may be required
