Registered Nurse (RN) - Critical Care Unit (CCU)

36 hours per week guaranteed
Weekend shifts every other weekend or as needed
No on-call requirements
Float assignments per scheduled rotation

Unit and Patient Population

Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
8 beds
Patient ratio typically 2:1, occasionally 1:1
Adult and geriatric patients

Specialty Focus

Care for patients with CABG, TAVR, STEMI, and carotid conditions
Experience with Impella, IABP, and CRRT equipment
Electronic Health Record system: Cerner

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Minimum 1.5 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year
ACLS certification
BLS certification
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Information

Orientation provided twice monthly
Professional scrub attire required (any color acceptable)
