Description

Registered Nurse (Med Surg) - Travel Assignment

Location: Hot Springs, Arkansas
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

Work in a 40-bed Med/Surg unit with a patient ratio of 1:6
12-hour shifts, approximately 36 hours per week
Weekend hours every other week (EOW)
Float requirements apply
Electronic Health Record system: Meditech
Dress code: Navy scrubs

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arkansas
Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg nursing experience, with experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Current ACLS certification
Current BLS certification

Additional Information

Unit includes an 8-bed Cardiovascular ICU, expanded Cardiac Rehab, outpatient therapy, and cardiac catheterization labs
Patient population primarily adult medical-surgical and orthopedic cases
Call requirements not specified
Orientation sessions available regularly throughout the year

Must be located more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify as a travel nurse
