Position Summary

• Multimodality Tech performing CT scans and radiographic exams (X-Ray & CT) in a hybrid role across two locations.
• Duties include producing computerized tomographic scans and diagnostic radiographs, obtaining patient history, explaining procedures, and addressing patient concerns.

Work Schedule

• Friday-Sunday, 2 days and 1 night shift:

  • Friday: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM (main campus)
  • Saturday: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Sunday: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (with on-call rotation among staff at one location)
• On-call rotation required; if shifts are unfilled during on-call, traveler must work those shifts.
• Guaranteed hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in South Carolina
• CT Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
• ARRT (R) certification in CT
• SCRQSA (R) certification in CT
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Radiology Technologist experience

Facility and Work Environment

• Acute care hospital and 11-bed free-standing ER with X-ray and CT capabilities.
• One multimodality tech per 12-hour shift.
• Charting system: Epic.
• Dress code: Black pants and teal top.
• Free parking available.
• Local radius: 60 miles; locals may be accepted on a case-by-case basis.

Additional Notes

• Hurricane season (June-November) may require assignment to emergency response teams.
• Radiation badge processing can take 5-7 days; candidates cannot start clinical duties without it.
• Orientation includes mandatory online modules (~4-6 hours) that must be completed before arrival.
• Fit testing for respirators will be done onsite; facial hair must be trimmed or shaved prior.
• All certifications must be current and not expiring within 30 days of start date.
• Prior travel experience is not required.
