X-Ray Technologist (Traveler) - Long-Term Assignment

Location: Olympia Fields, Illinois
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift (07:00 - 19:30)

Job Summary

Seeking a licensed X-Ray Technologist with proficiency in both mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment. The role requires extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology, and the ability to comply with state and federal regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technician license in Illinois
• Minimum 1 year of Radiology Technician experience within the last year
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Completion of Workplace Violence Prevention training (DCI/BVP)

Onboarding and Compliance Requirements

• Primary source verification of professional license and certifications within 30 days of start.
• Drug screening (minimum 10-panel test including THC) within 60 days of start.
• Annual color-blind test.
• COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses plus booster) or documented declination.
• Proof of immunity or vaccination for MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Influenza (seasonal), and Tdap.
• TB test within one year of start date and annual TB questionnaire.
• Annual respirator fit test completed prior to start.
• National criminal background check within one year of start date.
• Social Security card or passport for identity verification.
• Physical/health statement completed annually, stating clearance to work.
• Completion of core competencies exam with a minimum score of 80%.
• Skills checklist submission required.
• Workplace violence prevention training (DCI/BVP).
• Signed job description within the past year.
• Employment eligibility verification (Form I-9) or agency attestation.
• Badge photo (clear headshot with plain background).
