Description
Sonographer Position
Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Job Description
- Perform general sonography cases including abdomen, OBGYN, small parts, abdominal vasculature, lower extremity DVT, and follicular scans.
- Experience with NICU and OR cases is a plus.
- Equipment used: GE Logiq E10 and E9, GE Volusons.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
- Ultrasound Technologist experience must be within the last year.
Health and Safety Requirements
- Fit Test for N95 respirator within 365 days of start date, updated annually (no onsite testing; must use specified form).
- Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation completed prior to fit testing and updated if medical status changes.
- Documentation of MMR immunity (two doses each of measles, mumps, rubella vaccines or proof of immunity via blood test).
- TB screening: Negative TB skin test or blood test within 3 months of start date, updated if break in service exceeds 6 months.
- Physician Health Statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date, updated if break exceeds 6 months.
- Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity proof is strongly preferred but optional.
- Tdap vaccination within the last 10 years is preferred but optional.
Background and Compliance Checks
- Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start, including county and international residence/travel history for the past 7 years.
- Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start, updated if break exceeds 6 months.
- Social Security Number trace covering the last 7 years.
- National Sex Offender Registry check within 30 days prior to start, updated annually.
- Exclusion checks against OIG, GSA, MassHealth, and NH Medicaid lists within 30 days prior to start and annually.
- Education verification of highest level achieved (except CNA positions).
- Submission of a recent color badge photo (taken within past 6 months, plain background, no glasses, no filters).
