Nuclear Med Tech
Location: Fort Mohave, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Full-time, 36 hours per week
Weekend Hours: None
Call Requirements: None
Job Summary
- Work independently as the sole technologist in the Nuclear Medicine department.
- Split time between PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine procedures.
- Handle 3-5 patients per day using GE PET and Nuclear Medicine equipment.
- Utilize Med Host electronic health record system.
- Facility includes a 126,000 sq. ft. hospital with 52 medical/surgical beds, 12 acute rehab beds, 12 ICU beds, an 8-bed labor/delivery/post-partum unit, a 16-bed emergency department, six major ORs, two endoscopy suites, and a cardiac catheterization unit.
- Diagnostic imaging department offers digital mammograms, x-rays, PET-CTs, and nuclear medicine services.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Arizona
- Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT (N) certification
- BLS certification
Additional Information
- Orientation provided weekly.
- Dress code: Caribbean Blue scrubs.
- No weekend or float requirements.
- No call duties.
- Patient population includes adult patients undergoing diagnostic imaging for cancer detection and other conditions.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with both PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine modalities.
- Comfortable managing a small patient load independently.
