Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - NICU
Location: Wilmington, Delaware
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Job Details
- Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Schedule includes every other weekend as needed
- On-call required (details to be discussed during interview)
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Delaware
- Minimum 2 years of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience, including experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Fit test and respirator evaluation with physician signature required
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Health and Immunization Requirements
- COVID-19 vaccine proof (including booster by Sept 2025), or approved declination/exemption (declination not accepted in CA or IL)
- MMR: Proof of 2 vaccinations or IgG titer lab results
- Hepatitis B: At least first vaccination in series completed prior to start (titers not accepted)
- Influenza vaccine: Optional but recommended (proof or declination accepted except in CA or IL)
- Varicella: Proof of vaccination or IgG titer lab results
- Tuberculosis screening: 2-step PPD or IGRA test required; positive TB requires chest x-ray within last year (depending on region)
Background and Compliance
- Federal, nationwide, and county criminal background check covering last 7 years, including SSN verification (must be dated within 30 days of start)
- Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) dated within 30 days of start (if applicable)
- Education verification of highest academic degree or diploma/GED
- Completion of various professional compliance forms including code of conduct, conflict of interest disclosure, confidentiality agreement, integrity and audit services form, and system access form
- Screening against exclusion lists (EPLS, OIG, OFAC, NSO) within 30 days of start
- Trinity Joint Commission CORE exam within the last year
Documentation to Submit
- Resume and skills checklist completed within the last year
- Two professional references
- All required certifications and verifications must be scanned and uploaded as per onboarding instructions

- Specialty skills checklist will be provided by the agency for clinical contractors
- All documentation must be current and compliant with onboarding timelines
- On-call requirements and weekend scheduling will be clarified during the interview process
