OR Nurse - Surgery (Texas, Mesquite)

Job Details

Location: Mesquite, Texas
Shift: Days/Mid shift (06:30 AM - 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
On-Call: Yes, rotating call 1-2 days per week and 1 weekend per month
Charting System: EPIC
Scrubs: Any color allowed; hospital provides scrubs

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years preferred in Orthopedics (total knees, hips, shoulders, ankles), Podiatry, Gynecology, and General/Laparoscopic procedures
Prefer RN with circulating experience; ability to scrub is a bonus

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Minimum 3 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross
ACLS certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
