Job Opportunity: Neuroendovascular RN

Location: Jacksonville, Florida
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 06:30 AM – 07:00 PM
Weekly Hours: 36-40 hours
Holiday Requirement: Must work any holiday that falls on a regularly scheduled shift


Job Description

Seeking an OR Registered Nurse with Neuroendovascular experience to provide specialized surgical nursing care.


Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Florida
  • Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience, including experience within the last year
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Operating Room (OR) experience

Health and Safety Requirements

  • Up-to-date immunizations and health screenings including:
    • MMR (two vaccines or positive titer; no declinations accepted)
    • Varicella (two vaccines, immunity evidence, or history verified; no declinations accepted)
    • Hepatitis B vaccination series completion or signed declination
    • Tdap vaccine valid within 10 years (no declinations accepted)
    • Influenza vaccine recommended during flu season (exemptions accepted with mask requirement)
  • Tuberculosis screening:
    • 2-step PPD or IGRA within required timeframes
    • If positive, negative chest X-ray within one year and annual TB questionnaire
  • Fit test for respiratory protection (preferred prior to start, can be completed onsite)
  • Annual 12-panel drug screen prior to start and with any break in service over 90 days
  • Statement of good health or completed physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually

Onboarding and Compliance

  • Completion of facility-specific onboarding modules including core competencies, Cerner test-out, and unit-specific checklists
  • Submission of a forward-facing badge photo with white or blue background (no alterations)
  • Completion of all required documentation and attestations prior to or at start of assignment

Additional Notes

  • Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
  • This role requires working in an operating room environment with a focus on neuroendovascular procedures
  • Must be able to meet all credentialing and compliance deadlines as specified

This position is ideal for experienced Neuroendovascular RNs seeking a focused surgical role with a defined contract length and comprehensive onboarding process.
