Job Summary

Provide nursing care on a 57-bed Medical Surgical unit serving patients of all ages. Patient ratios up to 1:6 with PCA assistance. Common patient diagnoses include COPD, post-operative joint care, and diabetes management. The unit uses MediTech EHR.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Certifications required prior to start: ACLS, BLS, and Healthcare Worker Certification (HWC)
• Must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as a travel nurse

Additional Information

• Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays
• Float to like units may be required
• Dress code: Any scrub color allowed; branded attire from other facilities is not permitted
