Description
Radiologic Technologist I – Urgent Care
Location
- California, Vacaville area
- Work between two urgent care locations (no mid-shift floating)
Contract Length
- 8 weeks with potential for extension
Employment Type
- Clinical Allied Travel
- Part-time rotating schedule
- Approximately 30 hours per week, 9 hours per day
Shift Details
- Rotating schedule over two weeks with varied days off and shifts from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM
- Weekend and evening work required
- Overtime after 40 hours per week; double time after 12 hours in a day
Job Responsibilities
- Perform general radiographic studies following established protocols and quality assurance criteria
- Assist and instruct patients before and during examinations
- Ensure patient safety and well-being during procedures
- Produce radiographs, organize images, complete paperwork, and handle requisition data
- Inspect and clean radiographic equipment prior to use
- Report equipment malfunctions and patient complaints according to policies
- Assist with clerical duties, front desk tasks, and patient rooming during downtime
- Support other departmental duties as assigned
- Assist with moving patients as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technologist license in California
- Minimum of 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT certification
- Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
