Registered Nurse - Emergency Department
Location: Florence, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
Weekly Hours: 36 (guaranteed)
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Unit Information
- Department: Emergency Department
- Trauma Level: Level III
- Beds: 37 total (4 Trauma Bays, 7 Fast Track Rooms, 26 Beds)
- Patient Population: All ages (Pediatrics to Geriatrics)
- Patient Ratios: 1:3 and 1:4
- Electronic Health Record (EHR) System: MediTech
- Possibility to float to Overflow unit
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
- Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (CPI)
Additional Information
- Weekly orientations held on Mondays
- Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs
- Supervision by Nurse Manager / Director

- This is a backfill position in a Level III Trauma Emergency Department.
- Experience with a diverse patient population across all age groups is essential.
- Candidates should be comfortable with a fast-paced environment and flexible to float as needed.
