Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical/Surgical

Location: Mason City, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Job Description

• Medical/Surgical nursing role requiring direct patient care.
• Even weeks on (EOW), even weeks off (EOH) schedule.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Iowa.
• Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical nursing experience within the last year.
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Onboarding and Compliance Requirements

• Drug screen: 10-panel Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen completed within 30 days of start (no THC).
• Background checks:

  • Federal, nationwide, and county criminal background check covering last 7 years, including SSN verification, dated within 30 days of start.
  • Iowa-specific criminal history, sex offender, dependent adult & child abuse registry checks within 30 days prior to start.
• Professional verifications:

  • Education verification (highest degree or diploma/GED).
  • EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) and OIG (Office of Inspector General) checks dated within 30 days.
  • NSO (National Sex Offender) check dated within 30 days.
  • OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctions check within 30 days.
• Trinity-specific forms and agreements:

  • Code of Conduct form.
  • Confidentiality and Information System Security Agreement.
  • Integrity and Audit Services form.
  • Conflict of Interest Disclosure form.
  • Non-Employee Upload form.
  • System Access form (to be completed and uploaded one week before start).
• Competency and skills:

  • Specialty-specific competency testing completed within the last year.
  • Skills checklist provided by agency for clinical contractors.
  • Joint Commission CORE exam within the last year.
• Trinity Profile submission required before application: Resume, skills checklist (within a year), and 2 professional references.

• Prior travel experience is not specified as required.
