Description
CT Tech Travel Opportunity - Dallas, Texas
Job Summary
Perform diagnostic CT exams under general supervision following established policies and procedures. Responsibilities include verifying patient identity, reviewing medical records, interviewing patients to update medical history, explaining procedures and risks, setting up imaging equipment, acquiring images, reviewing and documenting findings, and communicating with radiologists. Respond to medical emergencies as needed and provide post-care instructions. Participate in radiology process improvement and provide imaging education to trainees. May perform Radiologic Technologist duties as needed. On-call/standby availability may be required.

- Weekly Hours: 36 hours
- Shifts: Friday, Saturday, Sunday; 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- On-call available if desired
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Texas
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Radiology Technologist experience
- ARRT certification
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Additional Information
- Must be able to take call/standby as required
- Participation in quality improvement and patient satisfaction initiatives expected
- Experience providing education to residents, student technologists, and new employees preferred
