Job Opportunity: CST/ORT First Assist

Location

  • Lake Havasu City, Arizona

Contract Length

  • 8 weeks

Employment Type

  • Travel assignment

Work Schedule

  • Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
  • Weekend hours covered by a call team (RN, CSTFA, CST)
  • Call requirements depend on staff size (e.g., approximately 3 call days per month)
  • May be required to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility

Unit and Patient Information

  • Surgical tech role with exposure to approximately 10 to 25 cases per day
  • Case types include total joints (MAKO robotics knees & hips), spine, orthopedic, neurosurgery, craniotomies, robotics, OB/GYN, podiatry, urology, general surgery, and plastics
  • Experience with XI DaVinci surgical system preferred
  • Patient population includes adult surgical patients

Required Qualifications

  • First Assist Technician with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
  • BLS certification
  • Surgical Technologist Assessment
  • Experience in open heart procedures
  • Experience in vein retrieval
  • Experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) settings
