Description
Job Opportunity: RN ICU
Location: Des Moines, Iowa
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Schedule Notes: Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH); July 3 and 4 are required
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa
- Minimum 1 year of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Onboarding Documentation & Compliance
- Specialty-specific competency testing completed within the last year
- Skills checklist provided by agency for clinical contractors
- Criminal background check (federal, nationwide, county) within last 7 years, including SSN verification and alias checks, dated within 30 days of start
- Education verification of highest academic degree or diploma/GED
- EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) and OIG (Office of Inspector General) exclusion checks dated within 30 days of start
- NSO (National Sex Offender) check dated within 30 days of start, including statewide check for Michigan if applicable
- Trinity Code of Conduct, Conflict of Interest Disclosure, Integrity and Audit Services, Confidentiality and Security Agreements signed and on file
- System access form completed and uploaded one week before start
- Iowa-specific child and adult dependent abuse training and registry checks (including criminal history, sex offender, dependent adult & child abuse registries) completed within 30 days prior to start
Additional Information
- Must attach scanned copies of all required certifications and verifications, including front and back images of certification cards
- Specialty exam and CORE exam must be current within one year
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
